Orlando Furfari

The next adventure trip is organized by Orlando Furfari. He is married to Anja and has 3 children. Orlando is the president of Christ’s Hope Belgium and member of the international board of directors of Christ’s Hope International. He is a seasoned adventurer, in love with Africa, an avid lover of the outdoors and he has crossed several African countries by motorcycle. As a passionate mountaineer, he reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro twice. Apart from an impressive series of four-thousanders in Europe, he has also climbed mountains in Iran, Kurdistan, Morocco, Namibia, Tanzania, South Africa and Uganda. Gerhard Potgieter

Gerhard lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is married to Carmen and has 2 beautiful daughters. He successfully build his own business in the construction sector but decided a couple of years ago to work full time for Christ’s Hope where he now manages the project department. Gerhard is a true adventurer and an ardent outdoor enthusiast. He loves to ride the bicycle and is a very experienced endure rider. Sören Dörr

Sören is married to Lize and has two lovely young children. He lives in Germany, not far from Frankfurt am Mainz. Sören is full time country director for Christ’s Hope Germany and a member of the international board of trustees of Christ’s Hope International. Sören loves to explore the unknown and was the driving force behind our offroad motorbike trips in 2017 (Nambia) and 2019 (South Africa).
